Jackson County
has built and maintains an extensive
library system to benefit all. Seymour
has a modern
facility, Crothersville and Medora both have libraries
and Brownstown is served by a facility. In addition
to one of the areas largest selections of novels and reference books,
the library system offers video tapes, VCR's, books on tape, films,
art prints, records, magazines and newspapers. Computer and internet
services are provided for use by the public along with photocopiers,
fax and laminating machines. Meeting rooms are available for community
organizations, computer training programs are available, and a large
bookmobile covers the county on a regular basis.
