Here is a list of canceled events, compiled by the Jackson County Visitor Center. Keep up with them on this blog post or on our calendar, which we will update daily. Many of these events have been rescheduled.

All events at Seymour Community Center Canceled

24 – Curious Kids at Jackson County Public Library.

25 – Roundtable with Seymour Mayor Matt Nicholson at the Seymour Chamber of Commerce.

25 – Trivia Night at Reno’s Cigar and Martini Lounge (Curbside service available).

25-29 – Mystery Quilt Retreat at Pyoca Camp and Retreat Center. This event has been rescheduled for May 6-10.

26 – Paws to Read at the Jackson County Public Library.

26 – National Weather Service SKYWARN Training at Redeemer Lutheran Church.

27 – All in 25 at Brownstown Speedway.

27 – Adam Crabtree live at Seymour Brewing Company. (Curbside service and delivery available from brewery and Brooklyn Pizza).

27 – Good Time Review live at the Seymour American Legion.

28 – 12th No Way Out 40 at the Brownstown Speedway.

28 – Trivia Night at Immanuel Lutheran School. This event will be rescheduled and a new date will be announced.

28 – These Fine Gentlemen live at On the Rox.

28 – Cortland Alumni Reunion at Pewter Hall.

28 – Seymour Tria Kappa Mad Dash 5k/10k at the Seymour Brewing Company.

29 – How to Spot Fake News, hosted by the Jackson County Public Library.

31 – Curious Kids at the Jackson County Public Library.

APRIL

1 – Missions and Service Dinner at Peter’s Nazarene Church.

1 – Fool’s 5k. This event has been rescheduled for October 24.

2 – Purdue Club of Jackson County Annual Dinner. This event will be rescheduled, so look for a new date soon.

4 – Jackson County Pub Crawl (both sessions). A new date for this event will be announced as soon as possible.

4 – Jackson County Dog Shelter Fur Ball at Pewter Hall. This event will be rescheduled, so look for a new date soon.

4 – Spring Open House at Anytime Florals in Brownstown.

4 – Schneck Live Well Expo at Seymour High School.

4 – Circular Logic Marathon at Seymour High School.

4 – Pancakes with the Easter Bunny at Bullwinkle’s Family Restaurant organized by Relay for Life.

4 – Legislative updated at W.R. Ewing.

7 – Curious Kids at the Jackson County Public Library.

9 – Seth Walker live at the Jackson County Visitor Center.

10, 11, 17, 18 – ACTS Community Theater of Seymour’s production of “Love/Sick”. New dates will be announced soon.

18 – Child Care Network’s 23rd annual Kids Fest at Seymour Middle School. Organizers are looking to reschedule this event.

23-25 – Crossroads Acoustic Fest. This event will be rescheduled for November.

24, 25 – Jackson County Community Theatre’s production of Ordinary People. This show will be rescheduled.

25- Megan’s Wish Benefit auction for Cystic Fibrosis at Army National Guard. This event has been reschedule for June 20.

25 – Kurtz Community Day. Organizers are looking to reschedule this event for a day in September.

All month – Thursday and Friday night live music at the Seymour Brewing Company.

MAY

1, 2 – Jackson County Community Theatre’s production of Ordinary People. This show will be rescheduled.

17 – Jackson County Community Theatre’s 50th Season Celebration and Jackie Awards. This event will be rescheduled. Look for updates.

PREVIOUSLY CANCELED

18 – Master Naturalist class at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge (Visitor Center at refuge closed, but refuge has remained opened)

18 – The Girls Book Discussion and Signing with Abigail Pesta at the Jackson County Visitor Center

18 – Trivia Night at Reno’s Cigar and Martini Lounge (Curbside service available)

18 – Parking Lot Pickers. Organizers are looking to reschedule this event.

19 – Craft Night at Brownstown Public Library

20-21 – Southeast Indiana Llama and Alpaca Conference at Seymour Agriculture Building (Rescheduled for April 10, 2021)

20 – Brad Treadway live at Seymour Brewing Company (Curbside service and delivery available from brewery and Brooklyn Pizza)

20 – Lindsey Lane live at Seymour American Legion.

21 – Bird Walk at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge (Refuge visitor center closed, but refuge remains open)

21 – Spring Spectacular Vendor Event at Pewter Hall.

21 – 23rd annual Indiana Icebreaker at Brownstown Speedway.

21 – Jake Cruiser live at Seymour Brewing Company (Curbside service and delivery available from brewery and Brooklyn Pizza).

21 – Justyn Underwood live at the Seymour VFW.

21 – Recaptured (Journey Tribute Band) live at On the Rox.

23 – Scott Kingdon Book Discussion at the Jackson County Public Library in Seymour.
