Winners Announced in Jackson County Visitor Center's "Life in Jackson County" Photography Contest
The Jackson County Visitor Center's "Life in Jackson County" Photography Contest recently ended and winners were named. Winning photographers were honored with a reception on Friday, May 22, at the Visitor Center offices at 100 North Broadway in Seymour.
Amateur and professional/commercial entries were accepted in two categories: Around Jackson County - places and scenery; and Life in Jackson County - people and events. The contest was open to adults and youth 17 and under.
Winners were:
Around Jackson County
Adult: 1st - Eric DiBlasi Jr.
2nd - Kevin Tracy
Professional: 1st - Jeff McDaniel
Life in Jackson County
Youth: 1st - Heather Babbs
2nd - James Driscoll
Adult: 1st - Chad Schafer
Professional: 1st - Jeff McDaniel
Winning photos will be published in the Jackson County Jaunts and displayed at the Jackson County Visitor Center fair booth and at the Visitor Center offices through June 12th.
