Roll out the barrel! The 50th Seymour Oktoberfest returns October 5 through October 7 in downtown Seymour. Here’s your guide to the festival for information on entertainment, vendors, contests, parade, information – and of course – food. Prost!
General Information
Hours: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., October 5 through October 7 | Select Non-Profits 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. October 4; Carnival & Knights of Columbus Biergarten 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. October 4.
Information Booth: 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Second and Chestnut street intersection.
Shuttle: Official Shuttle Locations: Walnut & Second street & Seymour High School | Time: Beginning 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. October 5 & October 6; 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. October 7. No charge.
Immanuel Lutheran Church/School Shuttle Location: 520 South Chestnut Street, bus ride from parking lot to festival. No charge.
Official Festival Merchandise: Jackson County Sertoma Club – Steins, mugs, shot glasses. Seymour Noon Lions Club – Official shirts and sweatshirts with three 50th anniversary designs.

Handicapped parking: Available in the Total Tan Parking Lot, corner of Indianapolis Avenue and Third Street.

Biergarten
The Seymour Oktoberfest Biergraten by the Knights of Columbus operates from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. October 5 through October 7. To purchase a drink, you must have a ticket. One ticket will get you one drink. There will be wine and seltzers available as well. Drinks will be $6 each.

The Seymour Brewing Company Biergarten will operate from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the North Stage.
Entertainment
Carnival
The carnival operates from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, and Thursday, October 5; and 1 to 11 p.m. Friday, October 6, and Saturday, October 7, in the B&O Parking Lot.
Bracelets are $20 a day and can be purchased at Seymour City Hall, 301-309 North Chestnut Street, Seymour, during these times:

Bracelets can be purchased for $30 at Luehrs’ Ideal Rides for $30, which can be used from 5 p.m. to close October 4 & October 5; and 1 to 5 p.m. October 6.

Start: 1:30 p.m., October 7, Location: North Walnut Street turn left onto North Walnut Street, end at Fifth Street.
