Crossroads Acoustic Fest
April 28 & 2, 2023
Crossroads Acoustic Fest features world-class musicians for intimate performances in multiple listening rooms in downtown Seymour. The two-festival also features a songwriters workshop and the Larry McDonald Memorial Guitar Show.
Fruhlingsfest
May 12 & 13, 2023
German for “Spring Fest”, this is a new festival that offers up a biergarten, food vendors, craft and shopping vendors, live music, entertainment, and more. It is organized by the Knights of Columbus Council 1252 of Seymour. This is a great way to welcome warmer weather in Jackson County!
Hen & Chicks Barn Market
May 19 & 20, 2023
You’ll find many vendors at the Three Barn Farm, 5602 E. Co. Rd. 100 N., Seymour. The two-day market features all your favorite vendors, food, music, & more!
Crothersville Red, White & Blue Festival
June 8-10, 2023
This three-day festival celebrates Old Glory and patriotism at Main and Preston streets. Dubbed as “Indiana’s most patriotic festival,” you can plan on taking in some great entertainment, food, carnival, vendors, crafts, car show, antique tractors, parade, and fireworks.
Jackson County Fair
July 23-29, 2023
Located at the Jackson County Fairgrounds off State Road 250 in Brownstown, the Jackson County Fair has earned the reputation as one of the best fairs in the Midwest. Our fair offers multiple show arenas, exhibit and vendor buildings, concessions, music, entertainment, tractor pulls, racing, displays, and more.
Jackson County Watermelon Festival
August 4 & 5, 2023
This festival is held around the courthouse square in Brownstown of U.S. 50 in Brownstown. The festival will feature Rock the Rind music series featuring Sara Evans and The Steel Woods. There also will be food, shopping, family activities – and of course – watermelon!
Kilnfest
September 16, 2023
Located at the former Medora Brick Plant, 8202 E. Co. Rd. 425 S., Medora, IN. Event pays tribute to the plant’s heritage. The festival includes live music, craft, food, and art vendors as well as special events throughout the day.
Oktoberfest

The 50th Seymour Oktoberfest in Downtown Seymour, IN. 11:00 AM-11:00 PM each day. This festival features German heritage, food, music, entertainment, a biergarten, 5k, balloon glow, parade and so much more!

The Annual Fort Vallonia Days Festival pays homage to the historic fort that was constructed in 1812. Festival includes amazing food, vendors, parade, 5K, muzzle loader shoot, trail ride, tomahawk and knife throwing, contests, model steam and old gas engine displays and much more.
