We think the heat kept a lot of people indoors last night for the first Power of Praise: Nights of Worship at Crossroads Park. But the good news is, we will have another one on Thursday, July 24! Join us at 6:30 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and a picnic meal. Thank you to those who came out for a night of inspirational music, testimony and worship. Special Olympics Indiana Jackson County will have its second trunk or treat from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 30 at Crossroads Community Park, 101 E. Tipton St., Seymour. This event is free and open to the public. Kids and adults are invited to trick or treat as they go around to each trunk to collect candy. Attendees will be given a ticket to cast a vote for their favorite trunk.
