Thursday, November 10

Country Neighbors –  The Country Neighbors’ ‘Home for the Holidays’ Tour is from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. November 11, 12, 13 at various home-based businesses in Jackson and Lawrence counties.  Stop by the Jackson County Visitor Center for a brochure or find more on the Country Neighbors’ Facebook page.

‘The Little Mermaid’ – Seymour High School will present ‘The Little Mermaid’ at 7 p.m. in the Earl D. Prout Auditorium at Seymour High School. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.


Friday, November 11

Jubilee Open House – Jubilee Flowers & Gifts will host its Christmas Open House from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the store, 801 West Tipton Street, Seymour.

‘White Christmas ‘ – Trinity Lutheran High School will present Irving Berlin’s ‘White Christmas at 7 p.m. at the school, 1 Trinity Way, Seymour. Tickets can be purchased at the school.

‘The Little Mermaid’ – Seymour High School will present ‘The Little Mermaid’ at 7 p.m. in the Earl D. Prout Auditorium at Seymour High School. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.

Live music at the Eagles – Fred and Steve will play at 7:30 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, 122 East Second Street, Seymour. 


Saturday, November 12

Jubilee Open House – Jubilee Flowers & Gifts will host its Christmas Open House from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the store, 801 West Tipton Street, Seymour.

Frosty Fest – Join Trinity United Methodist Church for its annual Frosty Fest from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church, 333 South Chestnut Street, Seymour. The day will feature multiple vendors and will be perfect for some holiday shopping.

Freeman Army Airfield Museum – The Freeman Army Airfield Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., 1035 A Avenue, Seymour. If you cannot make it during those hours, you may schedule a tour by calling 812-271-1821.

‘The Little Mermaid’ – Seymour High School will present ‘The Little Mermaid’ at 2 p.m. in the Earl D. Prout Auditorium at Seymour High School. Tickets are $5 for the matinee.

Paint Night – The Magic of Books Bookstore will host Paint Night at the store, 115 West Second Street, Seymour. Stacey Perry will be leading the class. Tickets are $35 and can be ordered by clicking here.

Euchre Tournament – The Pershing Township Lions Club will host its Soup Supper and Euchre Tournament at the Freetown Senior Center, 6807 North Union Street. Meals begin at 4:30 p.m. and the tournament begins at 6 p.m. It’s $5 for the meal and $5 to enter the tournament. There will be chili, bean soup, loaded potato soup, cornbread, hot dogs and homemade desserts. Information: 812-528-1507. All proceeds from the event will go to the family of Jeremy Pfeiffer, who recently lost their home in a fire.

Live music at the Seymour Brewing Co. – Mike Staublin will play at 7 p.m. at the Seymour Brewing Company, 753 West Second Street, Seymour.

Crossroads Entertainment Concert – Grammy nominated acoustic duo Rob Ickes and Trey Hensley will perform at 8 p.m. at Rails Craft Brew and Eatery in downtown Seymour. The concert is being organized by Crossroads Entertainment. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased by clicking here.

Live music at the Moose – Albino Catfish will play at 8 p.m. at the Seymour Moose Lodge 418, 110 East Sixth Street, Seymour.


Sunday, November 13

Winter Farmers Market – The Seymour Area Farmers Market will be from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Smith Law Building in downtown Seymour.
