Pesta to attend book Q and A, book signing at JCVC
The Jackson County Visitor Center is honored to offer an event featuring a former resident, who has written a book on a very important topic.
Abigail Pesta, a Brownstown Central High School graduate who is a New York-based journalist, will participate in a book discussion and signing during an event at 6 p.m. March 18 here at the Jackson County Visitor Center.
Pesta released “The Girls: An Untold Story of the Gymnasts Who Brought Him Down” last year and is excited to share details about the book in the communities where she grew up.
The book covers the scandal at USA Gymnastics involving Larry Nassar.
Maybe you saw the article in The Tribune over the weekend, which was an excellent write up.
This is something we are very excited about not only because of Pesta’s success, but because the topic of this book was such a huge story.
Only about a dozen books will be available for purchase during the event, but those who attend may order the book online in advance of the event and bring it with them to be signed. Also, those who have already purchased the book may bring their copy to be signed.
