Thursday, November 16

Open House – Teulker’s Treasures will host an open house from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. November 16, at the store, 258 East County Road 100N, Brownstown.


Friday, November 17

Legislative Breakfast – The Jackson County Chamber will host its annual Legislative Breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. November 17, at W.R. Ewing 1103 West Spring Street, Brownstown. Register by clicking here.

Farmhouse Country Christmas – Brownstown Greenhouse Flowers & Gifts will host its Farmhouse Country Christmas open house from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. November 17, at the store, 415 North Main Street, Brownstown.

Fall Fest – Eclectic Sounds Entertainment will host Fall Fest from 10 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. November 17 and 18, at the Seymour Armory, 1925 1st Avenue, Seymour. The event will include food, shopping vendors (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.), Genealogy & history (2 p.m. to 5 p.m. 11/17), Battle of the Bands (6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. 11/17 & 11/18), Guardians of the Children Fundraiser (2 p.m. to 5 p.m. 11/18).

Christmas Auction – The Medora Brick Plant and Historical Sites will host its annual Christmas Auction at 6 p.m. November 17, at the club, 7709 West County Road 350S, Medora. The doors open at 5 p.m. and food will be available for purchase. Proceeds go to help the plant’s restoration.

Live music at Side Track’d – Fred Elam will play at 7 p.m. November 17, at Side Track’d, 1115 West Spring Street, Brownstown.


Saturday, November 18

Open House – The Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge will host its Holiday Open house from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. November 18, at the refuge gift shop, 12985 East U.S. 50, Seymour.

Beta Kappa ESA Craft Show – The Beta Kappa ESA Arts & Craft Show will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. November 18, at Girls Inc. of Jackson County, 956 North O’Brien Street, Seymour.

Crothersville FFA Craft Show – The Crothersville FFA will host its 28th annual craft show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. November 18, at the Crothersville High School gymnasiums, 109 North Preston Street, Crothersville. The event will including vendors, concessions, pork burgers, soups, and more. Information: 812-793-2051.

Seymour Museum Center – The Seymour Museum Center will be open for its regular hours from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. November 18, at 220 North Chestnut Street, Seymour.

Community Meal – Trinity United Methodist Church will host its Free Meal for the Community from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church, 333 South Chestnut Street, Seymour. This month’s menu is Turkey, Stuffing, Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, Pumpkin Pie.


Sunday, November 19

Pewter Hall Holiday Craft Fair – Pewter Hall will host its Holiday Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. November 19, at Pewter Hall, 850 West Sweet Street, Brownstown.

Open House – The Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge will host its Holiday Open house from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. November 19, at the refuge gift shop, 12985 East U.S. 50, Seymour.

Chili Cook Off – The Jackson County Chili Cookoff will be from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. November 19, on Chestnut Street in downtown Seymour. Local restaurants and food trucks will compete for the best chili. Tickets and details will be available on the Facebook event page by clicking here.
