Thursday, July 27

Jackson County Fair – The Jackson County Fair will begin on July 23, and run through July 29. Click here for fair information. Come see the Jackson County Visitor Center booth in Building 3!

Trivia Night – The Seymour Parks and Recreation Department will host Trivia Night at 6 p.m. July 27, at Brewskies Downtown, 117 East Second Street, Seymour. It’s $20 per team wit ha maximum of four players per team. To register, call 812-522-6420 or email parkadmin@seymourin.org.


Friday, July 28

Live music at Harmony Park – The Bourbon Britches will play at 6:30 p.m. July 28, at Harmony Park outside the Brooklyn Pizza Co., 753 West Second Street, Seymour.

Live music at Poplar Street – Matt Trimnell will play at 7 p.m. July 28, at Poplar Street Restaurant, 513 South Poplar Street, Seymour.

Live music at Rails – Mike Staublin will play at 7 p.m. July 28, at Rails Craft Brew and Eatery, 114 St. Louis Avenue, Seymour.

Live music at the Eagles – Brian Fink will play at 7:30 p.m. July 28, at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, 122 East Second Street, Seymour.

‘Finding Nemo Jr.’ – The Jackson County Young Artists’ Theatre’s will present ‘Finding Nemo Jr.’ during performances at 7:30 p.m. July 28, 29, and at 2:30 p.m. July 30, at the Royal-Off-the-Square Theatre, 121 West Walnut Street, Brownstown. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for children. Click here for tickets.

Live music at On the Rox – Ryan Noblitt will play at 8 p.m. July 28, at On the Rox, 214 South Broadway Street, Seymour.


Saturday, July 29

Seymour Area Farmers Market – The Seymour Area Farmers Market will operate from 8 a.m. to noon July 29, at the farmers market parking lot off Walnut Street.

Freeman Army Airfield Museum – The Freeman Army Airfield Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 29, at 1035 A Avenue, Seymour.

Paul Crockett Memorial Race – The Brownstown Speedway’s Paul Crockett Memorial will begin around 6 p.m. July 29, at the speedway, 476 East County Road 100S, Brownstown. This race will feature Case World of Outlaw Super Late Models $15,000 to win plus Modifieds & Super Stocks. Click here for tickets and information.
