Wednesday, June 19

Seymour Area Farmers Market – The Seymour Area Farmers Market will operate from 8 a.m. to noon, June 19, in the farmers market lot off Walnut Street in Seymour.

SICA Open Hours – SICA will be open for regular hours, 1 to 6 p.m. June 19. There’s also the opportunity to work on art during the open hours. While there will be no formal instruction, this time will allow artists and those interested in art to gather and collaborate. For more information call or text 812-522-2278.

Jackson County Bicycle Club – The Jackson County Bicycle Club will meet at 6 p.m. June 19 in the parking lot of Central Christian Church, 1434 West Second Street, Seymour. Visit the group’s Facebook group for all the details.


Thursday, June 20

SICA Open Hours – SICA will be open for regular hours, 1 to 6 p.m. June 20. There’s also the opportunity to work on art during the open hours. While there will be no formal instruction, this time will allow artists and those interested in art to gather and collaborate. For more information call or text 812-522-2278.

Seymour City Jam – Cousin Roger will play at 6:30 p.m. June 20, at Knights of Columbus, 118 East Second Street, Seymour. Food, drinks, and sponsors will be set up at 6 p.m.

Live music at Reed’s – Ruben Guthrie will play at 7 p.m. June 20, at Reed’s Place Steak & Chop Shop, at 224 South Chestnut Street, Seymour.

Live music at Harmony Park – Chris Kelly will play at 6 p.m. June 20, at Harmony Park, 753 West Second Street, Seymour.


Friday, June 21

Jackson County Chamber Golf Tournament – The annual Jackson County Chamber Golf Tournament will take place at 8 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. June 21, at Shadowood Golf Course in Seymour. Click here to register.

Murder Mystery Night at Chateau de Pique – Murder Mystery Night will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. June 21, at Chateau de Pique Winery & Brewery, 6361 North County Road 760E, Seymour.

Live music at Poplar Street – Kolton Norton will play at 7 p.m. June 21, at Poplar Street Restaurant, 513 South Poplar Street, Seymour.

5K – The Seymour Parks & Recreation Department will host the Strawberry Moon 5K at 10 p.m. June 21, at the Freeman Field Recreation Area, 2476 State Road 11, Seymour. Registration is at 9 p.m. It’s $30 to participate and includes a shirt. Register by calling 812-522-6420 or by clicking here.


Saturday, June 22

Seymour Area Farmers Market – The Seymour Area Farmers Market will operate from 8 a.m. to noon, June 22, in the farmers market lot off Walnut Street in Seymour.

Freeman Army Airfield Museum – The Freeman Army Airfield Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday. Appointments can be scheduled through the week by calling 812-271-1821.

Cars & Guitars – Cars and Guitars car show and concert is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. June 22 in downtown Seymour. This car show will fill the downtown streets and Tyler Christopher, an Elvis Tribute Artist, will perform at 5 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, 118 East Second Street, Seymour. All proceeds benefit special needs playground equipment in Seymour. Info: 812-216-8131. Pick up a registration flyer at the Jackson County Visitor Center and register by June 8 for a shirt.

Live music at Swifty Events – Jackson Snelling will play at 6 p.m. June 22, at Swift Farm, 351 U.S. 31, Seymour. Tickets are $20 each, with children 5 and under free. There will be food and beer available, and those who attend may bring a lawn chair.

Brownstown Speedway – The 41st Annual Hoosier Dirt Classic World of Outlaw Late Models race will take place June 22, at Brownstown Speedway, 476 East County Road 100S, Brownstown. The Race will include World of Outlaw Super Late Models plus Super Stocks and Pure Stocks.

Live music at the Bearded Hobo – PSDYB will perform at 6 p.m. June 22, at The Bearded Hobo, 1029 West Commerce Street, Brownstown. Tickets are $20 each or VIP tables are available for $150. Lawn chairs are permitted.

Live music at Harmony Park – The McGuire Duo will play at 6 p.m. June 22, at Harmony Park, 753 West Second Street, Seymour.

Live music at Poplar Street – Brian Hopkins will play at 7 p.m. June 22, at Poplar Street Restaurant, 513 South Poplar Street, Seymour.

Live music at Meek’s – Justyn Underwood will play at 8 p.m. June 22, at Meek’s Bar & Grill, 2105 South County Road 750E, Seymour.

Craft Time at Moxie – Moxie Coffee Company will host a free craft from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. June 4, at the coffee shop, 218 South Chestnut Street, Seymour. The theme for the month is nature.

Open Mic at Brewkies Downtown – Michael Staublin will host Open Mic Night at 6:30 p.m. June 25, at Brewskies Downtown, 117 East Second Street, Seymour.
