Wednesday, May 22

SICA Open Hours – SICA will be open for regular hours, 1 to 6 p.m. May 22. There’s also the opportunity to work on art during the open hours. While there will be no formal instruction, this time will allow artists and those interested in art to gather and collaborate. For more information call or text 812-522-2278.

Live music at the Seymour Brewing Co. – Chris Kelly will play at 6 p.m. May 22, at Harmony Park outside the Seymour Brewing Company, 753 West Second Street, Seymour.


Thursday, May 23

SICA Open Hours – SICA will be open for regular hours, 1 to 6 p.m. May 23. There’s also the opportunity to work on art during the open hours. Saturday, May 25

Seymour Area Farmers Market – The Seymour Area Farmers Market will operate from 8 a.m. to noon, May 25, in the farmers market lot off Walnut Street in Seymour.

Southern Indiana Renaissance Faire – The Southern Indiana Renaissance Faire will host its festival for Viking Weekend from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 25, at Swifty Events Center, 351 U.S. 31, Seymour. Click here for more information.

Freeman Army Airfield Museum – The Freeman Army Airfield Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday. Appointments can be scheduled through the week by calling 812-271-1821.

Brownstown Speedway – Race Night at the Brownstown Speedway is scheduled for May 18, at the track, 476 East County Road 100S, Brownstown. The race will feature Super Late Models, Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, Hornets, and Crown Vics. Click here for information.

Sunday, May 26

Southern Indiana Renaissance Faire – The Southern Indiana Renaissance Faire will host its festival for Viking Weekend from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 26, at Swifty Events Center, 351 U.S. 31, Seymour. Click here for more information.


Monday, May 27

Clearspring Roots Festival – The Clearspring Roots Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 27, at 3248 North Broadway, Norman. The festival will feature food, crafts, music, ice cream, and more. There will be free ice cream scoops to the first 200 people who donate to the Clearspring Baptist Church food pantry. Proceeds from the event will go toward to the Clearspring Cemetery and Clearspring Baptist Church food pantry.

Memorial Day Service – The Seymour American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars will host a Memorial Day Service at 11 a.m. May 27, at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour.


Tuesday, May 28

Hawaiian Luau – The Rails Tuesday Night Theme will feature the Hawaiian Luau 4 p.m. May 28, at Rails Craft Brew & Eatery, 114 St. Louis Avenue, Seymour.

Live music at the Seymour Brewing Co. – Charlie Morgan & Friends will play at 6:30 p.m. May 30, at Harmony Park outside the Seymour Brewing Company, 753 West Second Street, Seymour. It’s $10 per person, $5 for kids.

Larrison’s Diner Celebration – Larrison’s Diner will celebrate 50 years in business all day, May 31.
