Thursday, April 11

SICA Open Hours – SICA will be open for regular hours, 1 to 6 p.m. April 11. There’s also the opportunity to work on art during the open hours. While there will be no formal instruction, this time will allow artists and those interested in art to gather and collaborate. For more information call or text 812-522-2278.

Live music at Seymour Brewing Co. – The Fabulous Hickbilly’s will perform at 6 p.m. April 12, at The Seymour Brewing Company, 755 West Second Street, Seymour.


Saturday, April 13

Freeman Army Airfield Museum – The Freeman Army Airfield Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday. Appointments can be scheduled through the week by calling 812-271-1821.

Tea for Two – The Seymour Parks and Recreation Department will host Tea for Two at 10 a.m. April 13, at the Knights of Columbus in downtown Seymour. This event is sold out.

Vick’s & Tito’s Dog Event – Vick’s Liquor Store and Tito’s Vodka have teamed up for an event to help raise awareness about pet adoption and other pet information from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 13, at the store, 400 East Tipton Street, Seymour. For more information, email nbyazell@gmail.com.

Firetruck Pull – Special Olympics Jackson County will host a Firetruck Pull at 2 p.m. April 13, at Wal Mart Supercenter, 1600 East Tipton Street, Seymour. Registration is from noon to 1:15 p.m. The event will be made up of teams of 10 who will work to pull a firetruck 50 feet the fastest. Proceeds will go to the organization. Info: 812-595-9162.

Race Night – Brownstown Speedway will host the ILMS Pro Late Models during a race at 6 p.m. April 13, at the speedway, 476 East County Road 100S, Brownstown. The night also will feature super stocks, pure Stocks, Hornets, and Crown Vics.

Medora Timberjacks – The Medora Timberjacks will host Lebanon during a game at 7 p.m. April 6, at Medora High School, 200 West Block Main Street, Medora.

Live music at Reed’s Place – Forrest Turner will play at 7 p.m. April 13, at Reed’s Place in the upstairs lounge, 224 South Chestnut Street, Seymour.
