Thursday, June 22

Food Truck & Music Night – Grub A Dub Dub and Sno Biz food trucks will be at the John Mellencamp mural from 4 to 8 p.m. June 22 for the Food Trucks & Live Music night. Music will be provided by This Old Guitar Music Store. This event is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Mellencamp mural each Thursday in June.

Battle of the Praise Bands – The Seymour Parks and Recreation Department will host the Battle of the Praise Bands at 6:30 p.m. June 22, at Crossroads Community Park. For more information, call Chad at 812-523-5888.


Friday, June 23

Live music at Poplar Street – Albert Nolting will play at 7 p.m. June 23, at Poplar Street Restaurant, 513 South Poplar Street, Seymour.

Live music at Rails – Dave Campbell will play at 7 p.m. June 23, at Rails Craft Brew and Eatery, 114 St. Louis Avenue, Seymour.

Live music at the Eagles – Rich Hampton will play at 7:30 p.m. June 23, at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, 122 East Second Street, Seymour.

Live music at On the Rox – Acoustic Crossroads will play at 8 p.m. June 23, at On the Rox, 214 South Broadway Street, Seymour.


Saturday, June 24

Seymour Area Farmers Market – The Seymour Area Farmers Market will operate from 8 a.m. to noon June 24, in the farmers market parking lot on Walnut Street in Seymour.

Youth Triathlon – The 10th annual Boys & Girls Club of Seymour Youth Triathlon will be held at 8:30 a.m. June 24, at Seymour High School, 1350 West Second Street, Seymour. The event is open to those ages 6-14. Each child will swim, bike, and run during the event. It’s $35 and includes a race shirt and snack. Click here to register.

Freeman Army Airfield Museum – The Freeman Army Airfield Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 24, at 1035 A Avenue, Seymour.

St. Ambrose Parish Festival – The St. Ambrose Catholic Church Parish Festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. June 24, at the church, 325 South Chestnut Street, Seymour. The event will include international food booths, Knights of Columbus broasted chicken, children’s games, craft booths, entertainment, and more. There will be a 50-50 drawing and reverse raffle. For reverse raffle ticket purchases, call the church office at 812-522-5304.

Golf Outing – The Michael D. Healy Memorial Golf Outing will begin at 1 p.m. June 24, at Shadowood Golf Course, 333 North Sandy Creek Drive, Seymour. It’s $80 per player, and $320 per team, with proceeds going to Trinity Lutheran High School athletics. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and lunch is served at noon. Register by June 16 by emailing mdhmemorial@gmail.com.

Seymour Museum Center Open – The Seymour Museum Center will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. June 24, during Cars & Guitars. The center is located at Third and Chestnut streets in downtown Seymour.

Car & Guitars – Cars and Guitars is scheduled from 3 to 8 p.m. June 24, in downtown Seymour! The downtown streets will close around noon. There will be door prizes and more for those who enter. Billy Brown will perform from 6 to 8 p.m. Proceeds from the event will help install handicap-accessible playground equipment.

Race Night at Brownstown Speedway – Race Night will be held June 24, at Brownstown Speedway. The race will Pure Stocks, ILMS Pro Late Models, Super Stocks, Hornets, and Crown Vics.

Live music at Poplar Street – Clearwater will play at 7 p.m. June 24, at Poplar Street Restaurant, 513 South Poplar Street, Seymour.

Live music at Harmony Park – The Why Store will play at 7 p.m. June 24, at Harmony Park next to the Brooklyn Pizza Company, 753 West Second Street, Seymour.


Sunday, June 25

Seymour PRIDE – The Jackson County Pride Alliance will host a Seymour PRIDE Celebration from 1 to 6 p.m. June 25, at Celebrations Banquet Hall. Connect through the Facebook event page.

Live music at Chateau de Pique – Ruben Guthrie will play at 2 p.m. June 25, at Chateau de Pique Winery & Brewery, 6361 North County Road 760E, Seymour.

Columbus City Band – The Columbus City Band will play at 2 p.m. June 25, at Heritage Park in Brownstown.

Seymour First Baptist Church VBS – Seymour First Baptist Church will host Deep Sea, it’s Vacation Bible School from 6 to 8 p.m. June 25-29, at the church, 505 Community Drive, Seymour. The week will including Bible lessons, crafts, music, recreation and snacks for children age 4 through 5th grade. Thursday June29 is Family Night with activities for the whole family with hot dogs, chips, drinks and cookies.

Monday, June 26

Music Bingo – Patty Bros Entertainment will host Music Bingo at 6:30 p.m. June 26, at Moxie Coffee Company, 218 South Chestnut Street, Seymour.  There is no cost to play, and the shop will have drinks and food available for purchase during the event.


Tuesday, June 27

Trivia Night – Patty Brothers Entertainment will host trivia night at 6:30 p.m. June 27, at Seymour Pizza Palace, 832 West Tipton Street, Seymour.
