Tuesday, November 21

Winter Farmers Market – The Seymour Area Farmers Market will offer its winter market from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. November 21, at the Jackson County Visitor Center, 100 North Broadway Street, Seymour.

Wednesday, November 22

Vick’s Tasting – Vick’s Liquor Store will host a tasting from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. November 22, at the store, 400 East Tipton Street, Seymour. The tasting will include Green River Distillery and Bardstown Bourbon Company.

Live music at Side Track’d – Dwight Hendrix will play at 7 p.m. November 22, at Side Track’d, 1115 West Spring Street, Brownstown.

Thursday, November 23
Happy Thanksgiving from the Jackson County Visitor Center! 

Turkey Trot – Girls Inc of Jackson County will host the annual Turkey Trot 5K Walk and 8K Run at 7:30 a.m. November 23, at the facility. Click here to register.

Friday, November 24

Gobbler’s Nightmare – Hickory Hills Golf Club will host the annual Gobbler’s Nightmare at 10 a.m. November 24, at the course, 1509 State Road 135, Brownstown. It’s an 18 hole, 2-person scramble with a cash payout. There a $120 entry fee per team, which includes golf, green fees, a cart, and food. Information: 812-358-4529.

Acrylic Painting Class – Kay Fox will host an acrylic painting class featuring sunflowers from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. November 24, at The Herbal Alternative, 2015 North Ewing Street, Seymour. Call 812-271-1850 to reserve a spot or for more information.

Live music at On the Rox – Hairbangers Ball will play at 10 p.m. November 24, at On the Rox, 214 South Broadway Street, Seymour.

Saturday, November 25

Downtown Shop Around – Seymour Main Street’s Downtown Shop Around is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. November 25, at participating businesses in downtown Seymour. There will be a Shop Small theme for this Downtown Shop Around. Visit participating locations for a punch card where you will be entered to win $100, $50, or $25.

Freeman Army Airfield Museum – The Freeman Army Airfield Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. November 25, at 1035 A Avenue, Seymour.

Seymour Museum Center – The Seymour Museum Center will be open for its regular hours from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. November 25, at 220 North Chestnut Street, Seymour.
