Friday, July 14

Anchor House Golf Outing – The Anchor House Golf Outing is scheduled for 8 a.m. July 14, at Shadowood Golf Course, 333 North Sandy Creek Drive, Seymour. It’s $100 per person, or $400 for a team with lunch provided. Registration for this event is full.

Friends of the Library Book Sale – The Friends of the Library for members of the Friends group from 4 to 5:30 p.m. July 14, in the library meeting room at the Seymour location, 303 West Second Street, Seymour. It’s $5 per bag.

Live music at Chateau de Pique – Josh Hause will play at 6 p.m., July 7, at Chateau de Pique Winery & Brewery, 6361 North County Road 760E, Seymour. Lola’s Modern Kitchen will be available for purchase.

Live music at Harmony Park – EmiSunshine & the Rain will play at 6:30 p.m. July 14, at Harmony Park outside the Brooklyn Pizza Co., 753 West Second Street, Seymour. Tickets are $15. The Bourbon Britches will open the show.

Live music at Poplar Street – Past Tense will play at 7 p.m. July 14, at Poplar Street Restaurant, 513 South Poplar Street, Seymour.

Outdoor Movie Night – A free outdoor movie night is planned for 7:45 p.m. July 14, at Steinker Platz, 212 South Chestnut Street, in downtown Seymour. The will be free yard games at 7:45 p.m. with “The Goonies” starting at 9:45 p.m. There will be free popcorn, candy, snow cones, popsicles, and water.  The night is being organized by Moxie Coffee Company, Integrity Mortgage Group, and Schuler Bauer Real Estate Services.

Live music at On the Rox – Jukebox Junkies will play at 8 p.m. July 14, at On the Rox, 214 South Broadway Street, Seymour.


Saturday, July 15

Seymour Area Farmers Market – The Seymour Area Farmers Market will operate from 8 a.m. to noon July 15, at the farmers market parking lot off Walnut Street.

Freeman Army Airfield Museum – The Freeman Army Airfield Museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 15, at 1035 A Avenue, Seymour.

Friends of the Library Book Sale – The Friends of the Library public sale will be from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 15, in the library meeting room at the Seymour location, 303 West Second Street, Seymour. It’s $5 per bag. Members of the Friends group can shop beginning at 10 a.m.

Norman Station Car Show – The Norman Station Conservation Club will host a Car Show from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. July 15, at the club, 12157 West County Road 450N, Norman. Check in time will begin at 10 a.m. and the first 20 cars will receive a dash plaque. It’s $10 to enter. The event will have food available for purchase as well as multiple raffles.

Medora Car Show – The Medora Timberjacks and Purple Hearts will host a car show from noon to 3 p.m. July 15, in the 200 block of West Main Street in Medora. It’s $20 to enter and prizes will be given. The event will include food and other vendors. Click here to sign up.

Fish Fry – The Crothersville History Center will host a fish fry fundraiser from 1 to 3 p.m. July 15, at Hamacher Hall, 211 East Howard Street, Crothersville. The menu includes a fish sandwich, slaw, chips, cookies, and a drink for $8 or just a sandwich for $6. Donations are welcome. Information: 812-498-7768.

Trinity United Methodist Church Meal – Trinity United Methodist Church will host its Free Meal for the Community from 5 to 7 p.m. at the church, 333 South Chestnut Street, Seymour. This month’s menu is Chicken, Peas, Slaw and Cake.

Hoosier Dirt Class – The Brownstown Speedway’s 40th annual Hoosier Dirt Classic World of Outlaw race will begin around 6 p.m. July 15, at the speedway, 476 East County Road 100S, Brownstown. This race will feature Case World of Outlaw Super Late Models $15,000 to win plus Modifieds & Super Stocks. Click here for tickets and information.

Live music at Poplar Street – David Campbell II, a Seymour native, will play at 7 p.m. July 15, at Poplar Street Restaurant, 513 South Poplar Street, Seymour. There’s a $5 cover charge to enter.

Live music at the Eagles – Gene Deer will play at 7:30 p.m. July 15, at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, 122 East Second Street, Seymour.

Live music at Brewskie’s Downtown – Lonesome Crow will play from 7 to 10 p.m. July 15, at Brewskies Downtown, 117 East Second Street, Seymour.

Live music at Meek’s – Austin James will play at 8 p.m., July 15, at Meek’s Bar and Grill, 2105 South County Road 750E, Seymour.

Live music at The Thirsty Sportsman – Country Bourne will play at 9 p.m. July 15, at The Thirsty Sportsman, 205 North Armstrong Street, Crothersville.


Sunday, July 16

Summer Fest – Eclectic Sounds Entertainment will host Summer Fest from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. July 16, at Crossroads Community Park in downtown Seymour. The day will feature games, kids corner, open mic, live music featuring multiple bands, food, raffles, shopping, and more.

Trivia – Patty Brothers Entertainment will host trivia night at 6 p.m., July 18, at Seymour Pizza Palace, 832 West Tipton Street, Seymour.


Wednesday, July 19
